About Me

I am a high school history teacher who takes full advantage of all the vacation days that comes with the job.  I love helping people to better understand the world we live in through the historical lens (and my DSLR Cannon’s lens!).  While traveling the globe, I also try to find the best cupcake, ice cream, cookie, chocolate cake, pastry… well, you get the picture… that the city has to offer.

Thus far, I have been to about 20 different countries and counting.  My favorites consist of places with some history (for the teacher nerd in me), beautiful scenery (for the photographer) and of course amazing desserts (to satisfy my ever constant cravings)!  I’ve travelled with friends, with family, with students, to study abroad, and for missions.  All of these experiences have shaped the traveler and teacher that I am today.

I hope you are able to glean some valuable travel information from my adventures or at least get the urge to experience something new in the world from my stories.

Travel far and travel often!

  3. Hi, I work with Greg at Urbanspoon. I just linked you most recent reviews “Eating My Way Through Brooklyn” but I noticed that you did not include a Spoonback for Lucali. I don’t know if this was an oversight, or perhaps you couldn’t find their page on our site? If you are inclined to do so: here is the URL for that restaurant. If you add the Spoonback, I will add the link.
