Another short “hike” we were able to take after reading hundreds of AP World History essays was at Hidden Falls in Big Cottonwood Canyon. We parked at the Mills B North Fork Trailhead, crossed the street behind the lot and headed towards the sound of rushing water. After navigating around some rocks (like the gorgeous ones below) you pretty much stumble upon the Hidden Falls – hence the name! The overall trip is like .3 of a mile, so I use the word “hike” very loosely. It’s a fun place to explore and wade through the water and I imagine that kids would love it!
